Full Stack. Full Cycle.

I transform visions into technical solutions. I translate uncertainty into clarity, analyze options, and validate assumptions with lightweight prototypes when needed. This helps good decisions get made early.

End-to-end project

I own the project from first conversation to production — single point of contact across architecture, build, and operation.

Advisory, then build

I start with scoping and architecture, and move into implementation when you want.

Drop-in contributor

I join active projects when capacity, a partner change, or specific expertise is needed — ramp up fast and contribute end-to-end.

A multi-tenant AI chatbot platform needed to become RAG-driven — connecting company knowledge bases via opt-in integration of enterprise data sources. The existing AI chat system was to be extended so conversations could draw on company data, with source citations included in the answers.

  • Solution architecture and end-to-end delivery of the entire RAG integration
  • Connected enterprise knowledge sources with per-user opt-in consent and access-aware security
  • Automated scheduled cloud indexing, close coordination with internal IT, and documentation
  • Retrieval pipeline with Elasticsearch and source-cited answers in Next.js — production-ready, rollout still pending at project end

A B2B academy for e-commerce education wanted to rebuild its website. Course offerings, mentor profiles, and editorial pages had to be maintainable without developer involvement. The rebuild started from an initial UI scaffold and had to become production-ready on a modern headless stack.

  • Fullstack, end-to-end from architecture through deployment
  • Headless CMS with a modular page builder and editor-maintainable content (courses, mentors, pages), bilingual with live preview
  • SEO infrastructure (metadata, sitemap, image optimization, redirects) and deployment including CI/CD and database migrations
  • Production-ready handoff; public launch planned after the project ended

A major German publisher needed a modern replacement for a legacy system. The new platform had to serve multiple publishing imprints, handle personal data under GDPR, and integrate into the client's composable headless ecosystem (Contentful, Next.js).

  • Sole ownership of replacing a legacy PHP system with a giveaway and voting platform for multiple publishing brands
  • GDPR-compliant processing of personal data with field-level encryption and role-based access control
  • Version and platform migration in production (Payload v2 → v3, hosting change)
  • Monitoring plus security and CVE maintenance in production

Multi-channel content platform serving a Next.js website and a React Native app via a unified GraphQL API. Neos CMS as headless content hub — a use case at the edge of what the ecosystem supported. 2.5 years in production.

  • Lead CMS Backend Developer and technical point of contact for the app, web, and API teams
  • Co-developed a custom GraphQL API as a single interface for web and app
  • Multi-level caching with proactive revalidation for performant delivery under load
  • Platform engineering in production (scaling, monitoring, major upgrades) — 2.5 years stable in production

Responsive relaunch of the website of HTW Berlin, Berlin's largest university of applied sciences. The website, grown over years, moved to a responsive, component-based frontend that editors maintain through TYPO3. The methodological foundation came from my bachelor's thesis, “Responsive Web Design for the HTW Berlin website” — which became the technical blueprint and a dedicated one-year position.

  • Web developer on a dedicated, one-year frontend project focused on frontend architecture in the TYPO3 context
  • Modular component system using Atomic Design with Pattern Lab as a living style guide — the bridge between design and TYPO3
  • Evaluated the frontend stack; theming and responsive layouts in preparation for the CMS integration
  • Iterative design-to-code workflow developed together with design and editorial

Transnational web platform for a documentary and education initiative on migration and belonging (Berlin / New York).

  • Solo end-to-end implementation — architecture and custom WordPress backend with a custom theme
  • Video archive with Isotope filtering and a custom modal player
  • Timelines as interactive historical resources for US and German content, each in two languages
  • Vimeo API integration for restricted content and contributor uploads
  • Integration of educator resources and event publishing
  • Long-term involvement across multiple iterations — the data foundation grew from Google Sheets through Google Fusion Tables to WordPress/Pods, while design and features kept evolving

AI accelerates. Ownership delivers.

How I work

I'm cross-functional by habit: I bridge design and engineering, explain trade-offs to stakeholders, and present the decisions. Rather than delegating, I take ownership end-to-end. AI accelerates my daily workflow now, while experience guides what to question.

Across contexts

With high agency, I move across very different contexts — solo or in a team, from publishing through professional sports to enterprise SaaS, monolithic to headless. I've worked through several web epochs since 2000 — and the patterns underneath stay transferable.
